Come December, the festive season is in full swing with friends gathering to share food, drinks and tales of the year gone by. Our favourite Christmas celebration for 2018 was an evening with Stella Artois at the private residence of leading architect Rob Mills.
Situated in the heart of Melbourne, the residence of Rob Mills was a visual feast with high ceilings, gold finishings and marble accents key themes in his design. This stunning abode was the ideal location for a luxurious Christmas celebration. There was ample space for guests to roam and mingle including international model Jarrod Scott, Australian actress Isabel Durant and Australian actor David Berry.
Throughout the evening we enjoyed free flowing Stella Artois, perfectly accompanying the cuisine courtesy of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal. Head Chef Evan Moore ensured the canapes lived up to the Blumenthal reputation, serving their signature Meat Fruit dish (liver parfait wrapped in a mandarin orange flavoured jelly).
A key ingredient to any successful party though is the entertainment. We were treated to live a performance by X Factor contestant Dan Hamill, who sung classic Christmas carols that had everyone joining in around the piano. To keep the good vibes going, Dj Tommy Ohhhhhh spun smooth beats all night long.
Stella Artois truly know how to throw a party and get into the festive spirit. Cheers to a tremendous year and looking forward to what 2019 holds!
