Living life on-the-go often means juggling not only our responsibilities and deadlines, but also our devices. In an effort to ease this daily struggle, HP have reinvented the PC providing the adaptability to work everywhere, watch anywhere and create anything; introducing The Spectre Folio.
Presented by Vogue and GQ, the Australian launch of the Spectre Folio was held over lunch at Sydney’s Beta Bar with a menu from Vue de Monde’s Head Chef Shannon Bennett. We enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, starting with a mouth-watering Spanish mackerel with kale and oyster. For the main, wagyu beef was served with beetroot and muntari berry. Our dining experience concluded with sheep’s yoghurt, orange and pumpkin which was personally dusted with macadamia snow by Chef Bennett as he visited each table to complete every dessert. Every plate was impeccable and put everyone in the perfect mood for the HP reveal.
Stacy Wolff, HP’s Global Head of Design, unveiled the stylish 2-in-1 device that is designed to boost productivity. The HP Spectre Folio converts into three distinct positions: traditional laptop, forward (ideal for watching media) and tablet. The three positions not only incorporate comfort and practicality but offer adaptability ideal for a busy, modern lifestyle.
The HP Spectre Folio integrates impressive performance specs including i5 and i7 processors, massive 2TB SSD storage and 16GB of memory. One of the most exciting features is a privacy camera kill switch that completely turns off the camera from potential hackers. The exterior design is also to be admired for its artisan-inspired workmanship; the 100% chrome-tanned leather creates a luxurious and timeless aesthetic.
If you’re in the market for a stylish laptop to suit your on-the-go lifestyle, the HP Spectre Folio is one to look out for.
